It sounds really bad when you say you lost $110 on an error like that. But you don't say what your line rates are.
What if I'm looking at another job that pays 8/4 cpl? Does your $110 drop in pay equate to a drop from 12/6 cpl to 10/5 cpl? If so, I might want to apply there anyway.
Even if I get penalized all the time I'll still make better money at 10/5 cpl. And sometimes, they probably won't catch my errors and I'll make even more. Right?
On the other hand, if you're only making 8/4 cpl and it drops to 6/3 cpl with errors, that's not so good.
