Laptop + ergonomic keyboard - Me

Posted: Jun 21st, 2016 - 5:15 pm

I have a pretty nice laptop, a 17+" screen. Unfortunately, I can't see myself transcribing on this keyboard.  I really am accustomed to and rely on my Microsoft ergonomic (split) keyboard to crank out the lines.

Does anyone here have this configuration?  It appears that I would have to place the keyboard in front of the laptop, as putting it over the laptop's keyboard would be unwieldy.  My laptop does not have a monitor with a swivel hinge so I could swing the lower part of it back, unfortunately.

I understand that I can buy an adapter to connect the keyboard to the lap's USB port.

Anyone here doing this?  How is it working for you?

If worse comes to worse I can go back to using a desktop....Thanks.
