Even though I am part time I have absolutely no flexibility because I am an "employee." If my companies system is down for 4 hours, I have to make up 4 hours. If I have a semi-emergency, I have to make up my time. If I am sick, I have to make up my time. Dear Lord, I want just a little freedom that ICs have! Thinking of jumping ship from the employee thing, so I would appreciate your feedback of why you are tired of it before I make a final decision. I am aware of the tax implications.
