If you are hired with employee status and don't make 150 lph will you still get minimum wage. - I know this question has probably already been ask

Hi:

I was a former employee at a local hospital and was paid hourly to type.

I now work for a big MT company. I was hired on as an employee for 8 hours a day and will be paid 0.07 cents per line at 150 lph. If I don't make the quota and get below minimimum wage, is the company supposed to compensate me so I get minimum wage?  I know there are labor laws out there, but I have to do more research on them.

Thanks for any help and listening.

Hard out here for an MT :)
