I would gladly pay 48 bucks a month. I have not seen a low 500 deductible in years.

We dropped our health insurance this January. Put the payments into savings and we're crossing our fingers we have nothing major in health issues. Our other minimal expenses we are paying cash as we go. We had to pay before, as everything was counted towards our deductible anyway.

The Obamacare/ACA fine will be nothing in comparison to what our insurance premiums and deductible costs would have been.
