I QA'd probably 100 MTs, and I'd say maybe 3% of them thanked me for the help. More than 50% lodged complaints against me because I changed a comma--I did not mark anyone down for those--but they'd say nothing about their chronic serious errors (ex: typing castration instead of catheterization).
Gosh, when I was doing MT (out now), I would thank QA for giving me feedback.
