Express Scribe 5.85 problems. Word keeps crashing - pf Posted: May 3rd, 2016 - 7:27 pm
I keep having problems with Word 2013 crashing (Windows 7) in the middle of typing. MS pinned it down to the Express Scribe software. I have the 5.85 latest version. NCH techs don't know what the problem is, neither Microsoft Word techs.
I downloaded Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 SP1, which troubleshoots compatibility with other programs. It detected incompatibility issues with the Express Scribe program. NCH techs say they don't know of any other issue like it.
I have a VEC Infinity IN-USB-1/IN-USB-2 foot pedal.
What other free or inexpensive software is out there compatible with my foot pedal?
Does anyone know?
