Like all companies they know well in advance when Microsoft is releasing the next edition and they basically don't care. They refuse to rewrite any of their editions to work with it and only do it in the future with other versions of EditScript - usually a couple of years later. Meanwhile MTs across the US have the same struggle you have. They don't care because it isn't their paycheck that goes missing when you're out of work after your PC dies and it takes days to get something that works with their system.
