Don't you just love how sometimes when you get an error - that QA will try to "explain"

and imply that as a transcriptionist you should KNOW this medical information. ...like THAT is the reason we got the error -- because we don't know the difference between, for example, hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism.  I typed hyper when it was hypo and got a much too long explanation of what each was. Really?  How about the reason I got it wrong was because the dictator had a thick Asian accent and also decided it was okay to dictate with his mouth full of who knows WHAT..and at the speed of light......NOT bc I don't know what the difference is!   And NO, it was a progress note and had no other info from the report (such as any meds they were on that might point to one or the other).  UGH!
