When typing, I am much more likely to catch discrepancies such as he/she, left/right, type 1 or type 2 diabetes, etc. I have less of my senses involved in editing and thus it is harder for me to catch those things. In your example, I would hope that I catch it and if I did, I would blank the second. If it put me over my alloted blanks, I would pend to the client for discrepancy.
