The more experienced and high producing MTs the company employs, the fewer needed and less (or no) QC needed.
It makes no sense to employ hundreds of low producing, poor quality and therefore low paid transcriptionists when they can employ fewer high producting, high quality and better paid MTs.
The latter would enable the company to employ fewer QA and QC people, maybe even fewer TSMs because they wouldn't need to hand-hold as much.
