I don't want to cause a flame up here and I'm totally not being mean, but I've been an IC for almost 15 years now and in every company I've worked at I have undergone audits, crazy QA and I just had to deal with it, like their employees. I figure that i'm working for them as a IC and they absolutely have the right to audit my work when they see fit, as that's what they do across the board to everyone.
Of course, the nit-picky auditing and QA basically telling you that your an idiot for putting "a" instead of "an" or a common instead of a semicolon is so ridiculous that I can't even think about it or my head will catch fire.
Unfortunately, its the way of things right now. So I can either suck it up or quit and I am so not quitting...they'll have to get rid of me. And they can bite me too.
