whose claim to fame is Dr. Kary Mullis, who won the Nobel Prize in chemistry in 1993 for his discover of PCR (polymerase chain reaction). They have developed many wonderful things and affected medicine terrifically, but the PCR is their crowning glory. Perhaps Genetech is a different company.
