I used Bytescribe when I had private clients, - but they used the ... sm

telephone to call in dictation. I only used Bytescribe to manage the audio files. I used DocShuttle Administrator. I didn't upload/download reports; I delivered to the office. I made my own templates in Microsoft Word for each client because some of the templates were fancy with tables. I did not have subcontractors.

I've never worked for an MTSO, so is this usual to shell out hundreds of dollars? Every time someone goes to a new company, they have to buy the company's software?

I, too, would be hesitant. To me, that's seems like a lot of money to come up with to work for someone. Maybe I haven't been paying attention, but I don't recall the folks on this forum saying that every time they switched MTSO companies, they were shelling out money for this, that, and the other. Hmmmm.
