First thing: Apply for unemployment. I think you can do this online in most states. They won't pay retroactively so best to do this first.
I think most jobs are acute care. There was one recently that wanted someone with a lot of op experience. I use monster.com and indeed.com to search for jobs all over the nation. at mtjobs.com you can search keywords for specialties.
The biggest adjustment will be your salary with a going rate of 8 CPL for straight typing and 4 CPL for editing.
