EPIC - flowerchild

How does EPIC differ from other platforms?  I've looked at their web site and noticed right away that there are portals for patients, physicians, hospitals, billing, practice management and so forth.  Can't find anything concerning MTs, or MEs; not even MTSOs.  Info or where to find it would be appreciated.  Thanks!
