I guess my point is that it's just an "iffy" field. Very often these days, clinic docs are becoming part of a large health group and may not have a say in who transcribes their reports.
The whole field is too predictably unpredictable.
I stopped chasing MT jobs and got out completely 3 years ago. I got as a receptionist in the front office of a small mom & pop retail business. They can't replace a smiling face and a warm greet with a computer.
