Not to be a Debbie Downer, but I wouldn't suggest getting back in transcription. It's NOTHING like it was 8-9 years ago, mostly editing now and the pay is near poverty level....seriously. I've been looking for over a year for a way out and it's challenging. I have a college degree but have done transcription for 15 years so it's extremely difficult to find anything fulfilling. So, just my 2 cents....find something else. Transcription isn't it, unless moneyou isn't an issue and you don't mind working for almost nothing.
