When I was laid off a couple years ago, I wanted to go to Andrews. I could not afford it. There is no financial aid. I applied to what is called the WIA, Workforce Investment Act. They would not pay for Andrews because it was an online school. The schools they would pay for (community college, vocational schools) did not give you good training for coding. I see no sense in taking classes if they are not going to train you properly. The community college course had 3 coding classes. The rest were fluff. The unemployment office pushes you toward CNA and MA.
