I do not know what jobs are in your local area but I do know what is available nationally. If you are looking at jobs that pay less than $20 an hour you are not looking at professional coding jobs. You either don't have any professional coding jobs in your area or you are looking for jobs in the wrong places.You may be looking at doctors offices or small hospitals.
Coding pay varies by geographic location, but remote coding positions can be performed anywhere. Even new graduates of Andrews are making $21-$24 an hour straight out of school with a CPC and a CCS.
