* Zero and Priceless work - Just the facts, mam Posted: Jan 30th, 2016 - 4:56 pm
Zero - number of times I have griped toward my job in the last 100 days
Zero - number of times I complained about my AGREED pay
Zero - number of times I had to make sure my spelling was perfect all the time
Zero - Workload overload or underload days
Zero - manadatory Overtime days
Zero - Piece work stress
Zero - QA uber-near perfection requirements
Zero - Work holidays
Priceless - full (and expected) pay check
Priceless - Interaction with multiple LIVE people/customers
Priceless - Breaks I can afford (they are free!)
Priceless - Happily bringing in donuts, candy, whatever for OTHERS at work
Priceless - EATING AT A FAST FOOD PLACE OR LUNCH ROOM, not on top of computer
Priceless - Funny, interesting, hard working, and crazy acting colleagues
Priceless - Scheduled raises, decent pay, benefits, etc.
Priceless - NOT merging, re-merging, and again re-re-merging with who knows what
Priceless - Understanding clearly what my colleagues and clients are saying.
Priceless - Not asking others what the pay is, how are the managers, etc.
Priceless - NOT HAVING CHECKED INTERNET BOARDS ABOUT MY JOB, E-V-E-R
Folks, we all have our own circumstances, but I plug up and walked last year and went outside my home and now enjoy my 8 hour days. Sure, I get some of the stressors out there, but when I come home, the chatter about work stays AT WORK.
You can do it too, just, W-A-L-K.....
