Microsoft Office/Word - Carpals

Got a new laptop this year with Windows 10 (which I don't really like), but it seems to have no word processor software on it, only MS Word by subscription.  I don't really want my information out in/on "the cloud," just want it on hard drive/flash drive where it's more secure.  What is the most recent version of Microsoft Office or Word available on disk?
