I volunteered to work yesterday morning. There was absolutely no work. Seemed the system booted me off twice when I tried to sign on a few minutes early as well. Then we get an email about an hour later stating that if we were scheduled for extra hours we needed to make sure we did them. Well, I didn't. I could not wait around because I had an obligation later in the day and was not available. I don't mind helping out, but my thinking was leave the work for the regularly scheduled people!!! I just followed the OOW protocol. I hope nothing comes of this because I thought I was doing the right thing!!
