Differences in degrees - humbled

Posted: Nov 22nd, 2015 - 3:21 pm

RHIA, RHIT, CCA, CCS.  Could someone explain to me what these are exactly? I've been reading posts to educate myself before making the move to become a coder and frankly am confused by all the different "levels" of this profession.

Also, what schools would a coder recommend as a good one to be able to get employment after graduating?

Do any schools offer or accept financial assistance or PELL grants besides the community/junior colleges?

One more question. As an MT for 15+ years, would I be able to "test out" of some portions of the schooling due to my experience with terminology, etc.?
