I'm not sure you understand what they mean by a recorded visit. They don't mean that the doctor is going to dictate the note to you. It is the actual visit that is recorded and you will need to observe what is occurring and what he is saying to the patient and to you, and to construct the note yourself. There may also be other information, like labs and x-rays, that you will need to incorporate into the note. You may have to summarize the findings of those into the note. It is not verbatim typing.
One of the reasons scribe companies do not prefer medical transcriptionists seems to be that most of the MTs who apply persist in expecting to be provided with recorded dictation that they will type verbatim.
Before your next interaction with this company, you might want to Google scribe companies and find out exactly what it is they do. Find out what the training is prescribed and what the job consists of. If you don't, when you interview with that company your expectations will not match theirs and they will not be interested in you.
