Just applied for a remote scribe position, what is the real difference between a scribe and transcri - Needing change

I just wondered what in the company's mind is the real difference between we as a transcriptonist and a scribe?  I just applied to a remote position as a scribe, and in the email confirmation of my application, they stated they are prioritizing people who have at least 6 months of experience as a scribe first and then they will consider others as scribes.  As a scribe for this company you type from recorded patient visits into the EMR.  Now, how is that any different really than what we currently do? I'm just looking for part-time and that's what they are hiring for, so I do hope I get a call.
