I've worked for a couple of hospital pathology labs and the transcription was about 80% of the job, while we had other duties. We logged in specimens, filed and pulled slides, shipped slides to other facilities. Also some slide staining which is interesting. Cytology can be included with Pathology which is mostly Pap smears. Pathology is unique, but you can pick up on it quickly. Good luck!
