Well, at least for my clinics, my TSM assured me just recently that there were no plans at present for there to be any change in dictation. Whereas you have a very valid point, I don't think this explains the lack of work with many MTs, especially since it has been ongoing. Geez, can you imagine if followups are doing via EHR? We will have nothing.
And still I ask....WHY are they hiring 3,000 MTs and new hires in the US????
