IC or not. Bash away....but you are all being sooooo unrealistic since companies rarely offer over 0.06 or 0.07 any more. An easy account, very little ESL for 0.08, she should be able to clean up and make decent money, especially it if is steady good work. I only make 0.07 IC on an easy ESL account, though not a big MTSO, treats its people good and pays on time, so I am happy. So personally I think you should have taken it, I hope they play hardball with you and give you 0.09 but odds are they will just keep looking and find someone who will do an easy account for 0.08.
