hired by a small company doing straight typing. After "training" for the last 4 days, I averaged $4.00 an hour, IC status, take my own taxes out, no shift differential, holiday or weekend pay differential, etc. The DIVA QA trainer dinged me for not capitalizing "mom" as a proper name in the middle of a sentence, expanding EKG as the first word in a sentence, expanding DNR, not inserting that the patient who is a gravida 1, para 1 is a female (duh!!)and not correcting the physician when he said me to "myself" among other crapola out of BOS Style 3, none of which had ANYTHING to do with patient care. I can not be released from QA today because I have not mastered auto number key on the program! So, I said "see ya."
