we were outsourced anyway. We worked for awhile after sent home and there was 1 person alone who oversaw the MTs. There was no training, supervising, etc. because there was a full staff when we were first sent home to work as employees of the hospital. We as transcriptions of the hospital were covered with insurance, retirement just as if we were sitting on the hospital property when we were in our homes. QA? We hardly had QA even when in house, very seldom called down on anything so must have been an excellent group working. To sum this up, working MTs, no QA, 1 supervisor over all of us, we all knew our work but still the hospital thought would save money and sent the work out to MTSO company.
