You and your co-workers should know that we have very valid complaints and it is nothing to laugh at.
Perhaps your co-workers would understand if they were in a work situation where they were only paid for a portion of their time on the job. No compensation for email, research, trying to decipher a an idiot who can't even speak English, sitting through pauses with no pay, training and meetings with no pay. Having your work, which is 100% correct, nitpicked by a QA person which threatens your accuracy score and can lead to termination. Working overtime for no extra pay. No holidays off, no sick time, no emergency family leave, no vacations. No replies to your emails to the company. Getting blamed for doctor errors and doctors who can't dictate, which can reduce your salary to $2.00 per hour. No chance for advancement. No thanks for doing a great job, only criticism. How would your co-workers feel if they were working for one third the pay they got 30 years ago? No raises - ever. So rather than come on this board bragging about your salary, being ashamed of being an MT and laughing about the posts, you should be educating your co-workers about the illegal injustice we are confronted with on a daily basis. The labor board suits that were necessary to get what we deserve and continue to be filed. Laughter is a ridiculously naive response to the struggles we face.
