Though my job has not changed all that much recently, there has been turmoil at my company with slashing of incentives and raising of production requirements. Even though I still like my coworkers that I know through email and this board, maybe its just 25 years at home or at the same position for so long - so it could happen with any job, but I think I have finally burned all the bridges and candles this position has held for me. I find myself feeling envious of the ones who were laid off or quit and moved on b/c they knew the end was near. To be employed yet envious of someone who has been fired seems wrong.
I'm tired, and I no longer like this job. Might be time to call it quits. Anyone else or is it just me? (I feel like a whiner!)
