agree to pay an IC for 40 hours of training! And any IC worth a grain of salt would absolutely not require 40 hours of training! If you need that much training time, you have no business being an IC MT.
I worked for NEMT a few years back in QA. My job was to train the new MT and provide assistance with blanks, perform random QA audits, etc. I can tell you when I trained someone, it never took 40 hours and if it looked like it would take longer than 8 hours, I had a conversation with a manager!
