Certification is not the same as licensing. States license for the protection of the public, but certification shows minimum levels of professional competency. Absolutely nothing in this thread said anything about licensing, so I do not know why you dragged that in.
Certification is not necessarily as lame as the AHDI's. Personally, I think this one sounds even more lame, since it is cheap, short, online, unproctored, and open book. Who knows, though.
