When you are hired you learn the software. When they hire someone that is experienced, they expect you know how to do the work. They don't "teach" you new work types. That is on you. it is your responsibility to learn different work types. You are in an acute setting. Operative reports are the BASIC 4 of any hospital transcription. Sorry if you have such a slow learning ability. take a refresher course if you have to. They are not entitled to pay you while you learn something you should already know how to do when they hired you.
