No sour grapes as I'm not trying to get a coding job - just was considering the school Posted: Sep 4th, 2015 - 1:47 am In Reply to: About Andrews - pmk
Before I plunked over 5k I wanted to see what the chances of getting a job w/o experience was if I had the CCS credential. I searched, called companies, searched more, called more companies...EVERY SINGLE time they had no time to deal with anyone without at least 1 year of experience because they didn't need to -- the job market is oversaturated with coders...they can pick and choose....and they will always choose someone with experience. Which is GREAT if you have experience. Just saying I don't believe the posts that say they got a job w/o experience. And since Linda also touts MT as a viable career and puts no mention on her website how MT is a dying career, I jsut can't trust anything else she says.
