is your goal unless you can find a place looking for cardiology specifically - those ads do come up fairly often. You might want to take the tests for those companies who hire based on them. The tests will give you an idea of the work and shouldn't be hard for you to get through with your background. Work for one of those for a few weeks until you feel you know what's required and then proceed from there. Not a lot of money in those, but you'll be able to say you've done acute care honestly. Easy to get on with I think are Acusis, Amphion (no spaces), TTS, Nuance, etc. Or you could take unemployment until you find more cardiology - you're eligible until your work specialty and shift are matched in a job.
