Isn't time and a half only applied after you've worked 40 hours? So, if the holiday is in addition to your regular schedule, you would get time and a half, but not if it is part of your 40 hour week? As for the email, I didn't understand the reason she gave about why they canceled that 20% thing. Didn't she say something about using it for some other benefit to come? Which would be what? There was a lot of vagueness to that email. It seems to me that she hinted at a lot of things, but didn't get very specific. It scared me.
