was true and was the primary reason for my leaving. I had asked a year previously to go part time; and they said okay, but would have to lower my line rate. It was already rock bottom, so I said never mind and stayed full time. The boss already knew about the heavy-handed QA because I was not the only one it was happening to; and believe me, she knew everything that went on. The QA crackdown was just an added impetus to search faster for a new job. When my new job opportunity came with part-time hours and much better pay I took it and put in my notice. I think this situation required discretion rather than guts. Laying everything on the line would have served no purpose. They would continue to have heavy-handed QA whether I complained or not.
