This is the only profession where you pay is deducted if you make a mistake, and I don't know how they can legally get away with it. Can you imagine a waitperson having his/her pay deducted because the mayo wasn't held or you were brought diet instead of regular? Or someone misspelling your name? Or a cashier accidentally scanning the same item twice?! The list goes on and on.
