I was wondering if there is anyone who regularly codes embolizations and the catheters that go along with that who can help me understand exactly what is part of the code for embolization itself and what can be billed separately. I'm wondering if when doing the catheterizations, if you need a separate code for each artery or vein entered with the cath or if that is only if they were making a separate entrance site?
