This does not need to be sent to a newspaper. Send it to the American College of Physicians, or the American Medical Association. Send it someplace where it will matter. We all need to send letters, not necessarily rants (although rants are a good thing), to a place where they will be read, where they won't fall through the cracks, where they will at least count as an effort on our parts to be heard, to confirm to ourselves and the medical profession that, although we live in cyberspace, we are human beings and we matter.
