Hi Crystal, I had the same problem with ShortCut and my new computer with Windows 7 on it. Sylvan is indeed out of business, but I was able to figure out a "workaround and still be able to use my ShortCut. I copied all the files onto a flash drive -- EVERYTHING pertaining to Shortcut and then installed them in my program files. The first thing you need to look for is the .exe files. I have the icon on my desktop, but I have to "manually load" my shortcut files that I use for word expansion. I remember as well the tech at Superior Global (they are the ones that developed the program -- not Sylvan), that you needed to run the program in compatibility mode for Windows XP. I know this sounds confusing but really not that hard and it also may have something to do with what version of Windows you have on the new computer. I was told that SC for Windows would not run on 8 or 8.1.
