MT became real popular among SAHMs back in the 90s when the National MTSOs started up. In fact, they advertised as a great job for women with young children. (Never knew how one could concentrate on MT when you had little kids running around much less their constant demands.) Well, times have changed. What used to be a living wage has now diminished to 1/2 of what it used to be. Technology has a way of either eliminating a job altogether or changing the dynamics so you do less and also make less. Basically, it is not a good time to start a family in this country. In fact having a family may even prevent you from getting a job in the future as you employer may think you are irresponsible to do you given the economics of the day.
