Same here. Got a new HP recently and was astounded no Word on it. My husband, who is more knowledgeable about tech, said they rarely have it anymore and you have to buy it separate. Luckily he had a new Office system from work that had an additional license on it that he was able to install for me. It is ridiculous. Yeah prices for computers have come down, but they take all of the necessary stuff off and give you the junk that most won't use on it for free!
