Kudos for taking the time to write such a lengthy and seriously helpful post. You reminded me to do a few things I haven't in a while (run Malwarebytes and CC Cleaner, even though I'm not having problems, but prevention is the best medicine). You are right these are great resources, but you have to remember to use them! You are a nice person.
