No one would "really mean" exasperation! - sm

They just can't pronounce it. A lot of people have trouble with exacerbation because of the x, c/s, and b/p sounds.

Exasperation makes no sense here and would NEVER be correct. Typing it and flagging it seems a little dysfunctional, like you want to let them know you know that they can't pronounce it. That little ploy will backfire on you, though, because they -- and everyone else who sees it -- will just think you didn't know the correct word and guessed it was exasperation.

The only reason MTs have jobs now is for their knowledge. Otherwise, they would be replaced by SR in a minute. That is the only thing that may keep a FEW MTs in existence in the future. Don't shoot yourself in the foot with this kind of behavior.
