Auditing and the big picture - sm

Posted: Jul 30th, 2015 - 3:10 pm

Yay!  I just got my first critical error in 5 years.  All my previous audits have always been passing.  In fact, in the last 2 months, I don't think I've gotten less than 100%.  However, because I had only 5 reports audited this month (4 at 100%, 1 at 97% which was the crit), I am now on performance management because my score is 99.4.

Seriously, why don't they look at the big picture and overall performance of the MT before they crush their self esteem and desire to work.  You've been near perfect for years? Oh, well you made 1 mistake this month, so you're a horrible employee.

It would be nice if for every 20 or so passing reports, you are allowed 1 throw-away audit, because mistakes can and do happen regardless of how good you are, and it would be nice for some "accident forgiveness."
