I went part-time but have no intention of getting out of the profession as long as it exists, and if I can survive. I hope to stay till the end, if there is an end. Time will tell.
I would love to see things turn around for MTs. The pay probably would not ever go up, but it's a great supplemental job.
People who are extremely unhappy should try a different field.
